By accessing the captain-claw.com website, using any hosted demo environment, or installing and running the Captain Claw software, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website, the demos, or the software.
Captain Claw is open-source software distributed via its GitHub repository. Your use of the software itself is governed by the license that ships with the source code in that repository. Nothing in these Terms restricts the rights granted to you by that license.
These Terms apply to this website, its documentation, and any demo or auxiliary environments we host at subdomains of captain-claw.com.
You agree not to:
Hosted demos (including, without limitation, demo.captain-claw.com and computer.captain-claw.com) are provided free of charge, as-is, and solely for evaluation. They may be rate-limited, modified, reset, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Data you place into a demo environment may be deleted at any time and should be considered ephemeral. Do not rely on demo environments for any purpose where loss of data or availability would be harmful.
Captain Claw connects to third-party services that you configure, including LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Ollama, etc.) and integrations (Google Workspace, Telegram, Slack, Discord, X, and others). You are responsible for complying with the terms, usage limits, and acceptable-use policies of any third-party service you enable, and for the costs incurred with those providers. We are not a party to, and have no responsibility for, your relationship with those providers.
Captain Claw orchestrates large language models and autonomous tools. Their output can be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or unsafe, and it may execute actions on your machine, your accounts, or third-party services. You are solely responsible for reviewing output, supervising autonomous actions, configuring guards appropriately, and deciding whether and how to act on anything Captain Claw produces.
The website, documentation, demos, and software are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the maintainers or contributors of Captain Claw be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the website, the documentation, the demos, or the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or demos after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be raised as an issue at github.com/kstevica/captain-claw.
