Captain Claw is an open-source AI agent that you install and run on your own hardware. Your sessions, memory, documents, and configuration live on the machine where you run it — not on servers operated by us. This Privacy Policy describes how the captain-claw.com website handles information, and clarifies how the Captain Claw software itself handles your data when you use it.
The captain-claw.com marketing website and documentation use Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-6N1C6M469D) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This may include:
We do not ask you to create an account to browse the website or read the documentation, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through the website.
Captain Claw runs locally. When you install and use it:
~/.captain-claw (or your configured data directory) on your own machine.Hosted demo environments (such as demo.captain-claw.com and computer.captain-claw.com) are provided for evaluation purposes only. Do not enter personal, confidential, or production data into these demos. Activity in these environments may be logged for operational and abuse-prevention purposes and may be reset or wiped at any time without notice.
The website uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or by using a browser extension without affecting your ability to read the site.
Because we do not operate accounts or store personal data about website visitors beyond aggregated analytics, there is typically no user record for us to access, export, or delete. If you believe we hold personal information about you and would like it removed, contact the maintainer through the GitHub repository linked in the footer.
This policy may be updated as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
